World thinking day passport template

On International Day of the Girl , we asked Girl Guides and Girl Scouts under 18 from countries what issues they were most concerned about and what they wanted to change about the world. From this data, we learnt that the number one worry is the environment. By completing the steps in the Our World, Our Equal Future activity pack , Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world will be able to understand how girls and young women are disproportionately affected by environmental issues and explore how we could speak out and take action for a better world.

A tradition since , the World Thinking Day Fund collects pennies and coins from members around the world, to support their fellow Guides and Scouts.

Learn about the history and impact of World Thinking Day. My item arrived in no time at all. These books were exactly as the website describes them, easily made but a little flimsy I would recommend for the younger girls. The cost is a good value. Staci Jansma — December 7, :. We gathered for our meeting which was also our cookie check-in day.

We had parents in one area and the girls in another. My daughter was leading our daisy troop through making sure their fact sheets were cut down to size and fit into their passport. We also cut down to size the postcards and had one prepared for each sleeve that the fact sheet was sitting in. Worked out very well. Highly recommend this. Sharon — December 7, :. When I ordered the passports were out of stock. I took a chance and ordered anyway. Very happy as they arrived 15 days earlier than my requested date.

I am pleased with the product and a good value. Amy Fisher — December 7, :. The quality is good on these plastic passport booklets but I found some problems. Plus tax BUT no shipping which is much more than tax. Second, when I printed out the country pages to put in the passports, the plastic pages are too small. A lot of work for what I thought I would be skipping this year.

In the past I have printed the passports and cut and stapled each one. BUT on a positive note, these passports are quality, cute, arrived fast and well packaged. Jullianne — December 7, :.

Even though they were marked out of stock, they had a limited supply and sent me some. Customer service was very helpful. Also I saw a comment about the pages not fitting but they fit fine for me. Susan Phipps Carr — December 7, :. Girls loved, loved, loved their passports. We used your printables for each country, the cover page, the food page and then we added a page of that countries Promise and Law and a typical songs a GS or GG sing in that country ….

The dove swaps were made by history committee members for the girls which we attached to name tag and then each girl made one to attach to cards the girls made to send to our Sister GS in Paris. Peace to all. Alex Cirasuolo — December 7, :. I called and ordered these Thinking Day Passports. I specifically asked how they were to be used and was told that they would be perfect for Thinking Day.

However, they turned out to be totally useless. The girls could not stamp them. They came with plastic sleeves but no paper which made them useless unless someone measured and inserted a piece of paper into each sleeve. For that amount of work, I could have made passports myself. It was our first visit to Thinking Day for my Daisy troop.

It was very sad to see the girls so frustrated and disappointed. We are upset that we spent what little money our troop has on these — which have been tossed into the garbage. Troop Leader — December 7, :. The passports were cute and the girls loved them but the picture on the website shows something different than what I received. I had to print out passport pages to insert into the photo album so the girls could put there stamps and stickers on them.

The good thing about these books are that they gave me an idea of how to make them myself next year and save on the shipping costs.

Amanda Vlach — December 7, :. We liked the passports a lot for our thinking day but the printable cards did not fit properly inside.
