Looks like there is a jumper wire in that kit for terminal one, did the instruction sheet tell you what connects to the jumper wire? I would assume the terminal 1 would.

Would it be safe to assume that L1 should be wired to a black wire and L2 to red based on the wiring diagram? I'd like to verify that that's the light indicator for whether the burner is on or not, correct?
